The Executive Team

The EIM program at ISU is fueled by a dynamic and energetic group of students that form the executive and at-large committees. These individuals are responsible for coordinating the larger efforts of all the Ambassadors and are put in charge of one or more of the initiative you see below. The delegate responsibilities to the At-Large Committee and are responsible for different tasks that make ExerCYse is Medicine on campus possible. The 2024-2025 Executive Committee is highlighted below. 

Meet the Team

Victoria Tobias: Co-President

Victoria is from Kennesaw, Georgia and majoring in Kinesiology and Psychology. Victoria plans to become a Physical Therapist, where she will help individuals recover from life-alternating injuries. For fun, Haley loves to lift weights, go on long walks and eat good food! She loves EIM because of the community and connections it provides through the framework of a healthy life style.

 

Leah Becker:Vice-President

Leah Becker is from Jesup, Iowa and is majoring in Kinesiology and Health. Once she graduates from ISU, Leah will attend graduate school and pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She enjoys lifting, reading, playing piano, and listening to Taylor Swift in her free time. Leah loves Exercise is Medicine because she is passionate about the importance of exercise and how it positively impacts people. She also appreciate how this club creates a sense of community at Iowa State and challenges individuals to prioritize their wellness at young ages.

 

Rachel Rosonke: Treasurer

Rachel is from Eldora, Iowa and is majoring in Biology and Psychology. Rachel plans to become a Psychiatrist, where she will help individuals with mental health problems. For fun, Rachel loves to do yoga, read, and play board games. She loves EIM because of the community outreach that promotes overall health through exercise. 

 

Arunadee Fernando: Secretary

Arunadee is from Ames, Iowa and is majoring in Biology and minoring in Kinesiology. She aspires to attend medical school and become a physician. Arunadee enjoys Exercise is Medicine for many reasons, including; volunteering with EIM, sharing the importance of physical activity with youth, and promoting the importance of physical activity with people! In her free time, Arunadee enjoys playing tennis on the ISU Tennis Club as well as volunteering in the Ames community!
