Description
Future Business Leaders of America Collegiate (formally FBLA-ΦΒΛ) at Iowa State University offers students the opportunity to prepare themselves to enter the workforce after college. Members have countless opportunities to develop as professionals, community advocates, project leaders, and student role models through diverse experiences and activities throughout the year. These include:
• Networking opportunities with industry leaders and other FBLA members
• Leadership role opportunities on local, state, and national levels
• Travel around Iowa and the nation to compete in over 60 available competitive case projects and knowledge test events
• Learn from current business leaders firsthand in workshops covering a diverse range of topics
• Advocating for and reaching out to the local Ames community during chapter service projects and fundraisers

Career Connections Conference: Held each Fall semester; travel opportunity to participate in workshops and social activities while networking with industry professionals and FBLA members from across the Midwest.
State Leadership Conference: Held each Spring semester; held with the entire Iowa FBLA membership, and includes workshops, social activities, and competitions among each chapter and member.
National Leadership Conference: Held each Summer; held with the entire FBLA international membership, and includes workshops, social events, national travel opportunities, and competitions among states, chapters, and members. |
