FLL Discover

Coaching an FLL Discover team is an adventure! As a coach, you will guide preschool-1st graders through the engineering design process (more than likely for the first time) as they learn about a specific theme. Students will be introduced to STEM through hands-on classroom activities and playing with LEGO® Duplo bricks at home. No previous or technical experience is required! FIRST provides coaches with a teacher’s guide to walk the children through activities and helps if you do not have previous/technical experience.

FLL Discover Team at Northminster Church in Ames

Northminster Church in Ames needs mentors for their FLL Discover Teams. The team meets Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm at the church (1416 20th St, Ames, IA 50010). They already have a group of kindergarteners for the teams. Now they need mentors!
