Fraternities Music & Performing Arts

Description

Welcome to Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia! Founded in 1898 with the purpose of promoting sociability and the best and truest fraternal spirit, ΦΜΑ Sinfonia is the oldest and largest secret fraternal society in music in the world. Banded together by our common goal of building men of the highest type, Sinfonians across the country seek to win the world to Harmony through its noble Object: The Object of this Fraternity shall be for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit; the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students; the advancement of music in America; and a loyalty to the Alma Mater. Chartered on December 17, 1922, the Alpha Delta Chapter is celebrating our centennial this school year.

Allowed Members Advisory Policy on Membership Eligibility: Regarding National Constitution and Bylaws, Title I, Article I, Section 2, it is the interpretation of the National Executive Committee that any individual who identifies consistently and in good faith as a man (to include, but not limited to cisgender male and transgender male individuals) is eligible for status as a probationary member and initiation. By extension, any individual who identifies consistently and in good faith as any gender other than male (to include, but not limited to cisgender females, transgender females, non-binary, or agender individuals) are not eligible for status as a probationary member and initiation.
