Description
The aim of PhilClub is to provide opportunities for those who are interested in philosophy and the philosophic method to come together for weekly discussions. We welcome everyone who is willing to challenge their own beliefs, develop their understanding of the world, and - most importantly - have a friendly, productive discussion! No prior knowledge is assumed, and everyone is welcome to participate only as much as they are comfortable with. Our meetings are typically informal small group discussions focused on a new topic every week. Each week we distribute a discussion topic along with a brief introduction, additional reading materials, and, occasionally, related videos and podcasts about the topic. If you wish to receive our weekly email containing the topic and meeting information, simply request to join the club or email any club officer.
