Description

We provide undergraduate and graduate students interested in physics and astronomy with reference materials, work stations, support, and just plain old fun. We also organize events to teach K-12 students, and the wider community about physics, astronomy, science literacy, and the college experience.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

ISUPAC meets every other Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. (Starting September 3rd, 2024) on the first floor of Physics Hall in room 45. There are signs directing people to the club room, as well as a sign on the door in the window, but you can always e-mail one of the club officers to get directions. We hold demo shows for local schools/libraries/etc to bring physics and astronomy closer to the public. We also participate in science nights at local schools and assist with The Planetarium Group at ISU's planetarium nights.
