The International Friendship Connection (IFC) is a fellowship of international Christians and friends who seek to serve and support international students, scholars and their families. We want to welcome internationals to Iowa and help them to feel like Ames is their "home away from home". IFC is a great place to meet people from many different countries and develop lasting friendships. Please contact us. We look forward to meeting you.

Description of Special Events
| 2022-2023 Special Events:
Backyard Bashes: At Backyard Bashes two family groups meet together in the backyard of Ames community members. There you will have the opportunity to play games, have a bonfire, and/or go on an adventure! It's always a good time!
Throughout the year, Festivities will be held to celebrate fun days together throughout the year. Farm Festival happens at the beginning of the school year. We have a Halloween Party, Thanksgiving Gathering, and a Christmas Celebration to celebrate American holidays! Additionally, we have a Sports & Games Night, a winter retreat called the IFC Getaway. During the summer we also host a Pool Party, a 4th of July Celebration, and a Camping & Canoeing Trip! |
