Description
Iowa Women in Architecture is a club, open to all genders and majors, which is centered around Architecture and Design. Bringing students and faculty together, along with professionals in the area. IAWIA offers monthly group discussions, a mentor program pairing students with business professionals, as well as semester events including a Portfolio Review and a Des Moines area Firm Crawl.

Elections/Selection |
Elections are held at the end of the fall semester. Eligible members must be in good standing with the university and currently enrolled, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5, and must pay in full all chapter dues and fees prior to the election. |

IAWIA offers monthly group discussions about the culture and discipline of Architecture and Design. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
IAWIA meetings take place once a month on a weekday after scheduled studio time. |
Description of Special Events
Events such as Portfolio Night take place in the Design atrium and other such gathering spaces provided by the College of Design. |
