Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Regular meetings last approximately and hour. We often have guest speakers such as the Dean of the College of Human Sciences or a community member looking for help with a project or event. During the meetings, representatives share what their club or organization is currently doing. We also plan events during this time.

Description of Special Events

The College of Human Sciences Council organizes at least on philanthropy event per semester. The philanthropic organization can change, but we generally raise funds for the United Way of Story County in the fall during Human Sciences Week. The events and activities we host take the efforts of all council members and benefit the Ames and Iowa State Community.
