Good Earth Student Farm is a student-run organization where students, faculty, staff, and local community members grow produce to aid in reducing food insecurity at Iowa State. After participating members take their workshare home, we share our harvest with S.H.O.P. (Students Helping Our Peers), the food pantry on campus. In the last three years (2022-2024), Good Earth has donated nearly 10,000 lbs. of fresh produce to the S.H.O.P.! |

Working on the Farm
You do not need any experience with farming or gardening to join! This is a great way to gain hands-on experience with small scale farming practices.
Before working on the Farm, register as a club member by selecting 'Join' in the upper-right corner. Then contact a Good Earth Officer (via Discord below; or email - goodearthofficers@iastate.edu) for current working schedules on the Farm.
Good Earth news
Left to right - Good Earth members, Manish and Luda, accept the Commitment to Service award (April 2023); the crew shows off an afternoon's harvest (Sept. 2024); Good Earth members donate to SHOP (Sept. 2023)
