Geology club is an all-inclusive, exciting, educational group that focuses on bringing both students and non-students together over a common love of all things geology. Activities include a bi-annual rock, fossil, and jewelry sale, community outreach, social events, bad geology movie nights, and much more!

Membership Information

Allowed Members Anyone is welcome within the university.
Allowed Officers Anyone involved in the club can run for an officer position.
Membership Qualifications We accept all majors in our club.
Membership Restrictions There are no restrictions in being a member of Geology Club.
Elections/Selection We host elections when an officer decides to step down during the semester.
Meetings We meet every other week. Currently, we meet Wednesday evenings at 6pm in room 257 of Science Hall.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

During our meetings, we do everything from watch bad geology movies to plan our semi-annual rock and jewelry sales, depending on the time of year. We also do outreach events at the local elementary schools and travel to regional rock sales.
