Description

The Communication Disorders Club is a club for ISU students pursuing academic study as a speech-language pathologist, speech-language pathology assistant, audiologist, those interested in careers dealing with communication disorders, and those enrolled in communication disorders course work. The club will lead bimonthly meetings with member activity that centers around the topics and skills necessary for Iowa State students to prepare for success in graduate programs and careers in speech-language pathology and audiology. Meetings will incorporate group discussions, guest speakers, Q&A sessions, games, volunteer work, and more.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Regular meetings will happen every other Wednesday in 3125 Pearson Hall at 6pm. Meetings will include group discussion, presentations, practice examination, graduate school preparation, guest speakers, tips for success in careers in SLP/AuD, and more.

Meetings will include group discussion, presentations, practice examination, graduate school preparation, and success in careers in SLP/Aud. Possible trips to NSSLHA and ASHA conventions.
