Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
Regular meetings include regular housekeeping tasks and planning for upcoming events as well as a presentation by a group member explaining their research, new techniques, programs, etc. There are also meetings devoted to helping other students prepare for their prelims and defenses. |
Description of Special Events
Holiday Potluck- bring a dish to pass and celebrate the end of the semester with others from the department |
Pancake Breakfast- club members cook pancakes and bring in an invited speaker from either industry or academia to share their experiences and wisdom |
