Description
Cardinal Tap Club aims to teach tap dance in a fun, welcoming environment. Tap dance involves using shoes with metal taps attached to the bottom to create sounds in rhythmic patterns, either to music or acapella. The club is open to anyone here at Iowa State University, experienced or not, wishing to expand into the art form and take a break from their hectic school life once a week.

Meetings occur every Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 pm. We will work on different moves and a dance we perform. |
Description of Special Events
Throughout the semester, Tap Club works on a piece for the end-of-the-semester showcase hosted by Orchesis II, the 'sister club' to Cardinal Tap. Students can participate in the showcase, but it is not required! We understand people are more comfortable in different environments and may not want to be in front of an audience. |
