Description
The AAFP student chapter is an organization at ISU that offers feline-focused lectures and wet labs to its members throughout the academic year. We focus on practical skills and current topics in feline veterinary medicine that will be of value to veterinary school graduates.

Officers must maintain a GPA of at least a 2.0 and enrolled at least half-time |

Elections/Selection |
The election shall be held annually at the end of spring semester by ballot. A slate of candidates for the officers shall be voted upon by ballot. Write in candidates are acceptable. The candidate receiving the largest number of ballots will be elected. Elections will be held during the last few weeks of the spring semester. |
Meetings |
Meetings are held at least once per month. Executive board meetings are held as needed, at least once per semester. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
Meetings are typically held once per month during the Veterinary Medicine student lunch hour. Lunch may or may not be provided at these meetings. Meetings are on a topic of interest relating to veterinary feline practice. |
Description of Special Events
Wetlabs are events held during the semester that give students the opportunity to learn clinical and practical skills relating to veterinary medicine. |
