Description

The Trap and Skeet Club at Iowa State is a group of people with the common interest in the Shotgun sports. The club consists of shooters of mixed experience levels; encourages participation in practice, instruction, and competition in the various clay target sports. The Trap and Skeet Club abides by and supports Iowa State University policies, State and Federal Laws and follows local ordinances and regulations.

Allowed Members Any ISU student or Staff, any College Student enrolled in good standing.
Allowed Officers ISU students in good academic standing
Membership Qualifications Hunter's Education Safety course or DNR Firearm Safety presentation.
Membership Restrictions Not barred from possession of firearms
Elections/Selection Club Elections are held at the Annual Meeting, first week of December at the end of the season.
Meetings Practice weekly in season. Thursday evening at the local Izaak Walton League Park.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

The club meets once a week at the Ames Izaak Walton League Trap & Skeet Range where we practice and take care of club business.
