Description
You may more often hear us referred to by our nickname "Thumpers". We were founded in 1847 by six men at Union College and brought to Iowa State in 1919. We live in the oldest house on campus made for Fraternal Living, which is recognized as a historical landmark. Our house had renovations completed in the spring of 2016. Our reputation on campus and number of members has been growing steadily since 2007. We represent various majors and backgrounds, bringing in students from all over the nation. Our members are very involved in the fraternity and Iowa State student and Greek life. Theta Delta Chi strives to improve all of its members to improve and reform them to the best of their abilities. As a member, one will learn many valuable life lessons and will leave as a well-adjusted, respectful, kind, and hard-working young man. It is truly a brotherhood for life.
