Description
Every year, the student in the Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management department have the opportunity to highlight student apparel designs by showcasing them in The Fashion Show at Iowa State University. It is one of the largest student-produced and promoted events in the nation and is in its 40th year. Weekly meetings are conducted with Producers, Directors, and Committee Members, totaling around 150 students in all!

Membership Qualifications |
All members must fill out an application and submit it to the current producers by the selected date. Applications will be available in the Fall semester for the next Spring. Selected members will receive confirmation from Producers and added to the course by AMD advisers. Open to all majors, must be a student at Iowa State University. |
Membership Restrictions |
Students must be selected through an application process for involvement in the student organization. |
Elections/Selection |
Current Producers and Adviser will select 2 Managerial Producers and 2 Outreach Producers after completion of The Fashion Show in the spring for the next year. Current Producers select Directors and Committee Members for the semester. |
Meetings |
Students will be enrolled in AESHM 272 or 472 which meets Wednesdays from 6:10 to 8:00 p.m. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
Organization meets weekly on Wednesday evenings during the spring semester. Students involved at the director level will meet from 5:10 - 8:00 PM. Students involved at the committee member level will meet from 6:10 - 8:00 PM. |
Description of Special Events
All activities will culminate in The Fashion Show, held annually in April at C.Y. Stephens Auditorium. |
