Description
Alpha Chi Omega is a national women's fraternity founded in 1885 and established at Iowa State University in 1961. The sisterhood is founded on the values of academics, character development, leadership, financial responsibility, and personal growth. Women work to encourage one another through their collegiate years and into adulthood.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
Weekly chapter meetings are held Mondays. Other optional events occur throughout the week. These event include things like study hours at the house to give women a quiet and personal space to focus on academics, movie nights at the house, and sisterhoods of many different natures. |
Description of Special Events
Alpha Chi Omega hosts two special events, one in the fall and one in the spring, these events are hosted to raise money for ACCESS in Ames. ACCESS is the assault care center extending shelter and support. We are honored to be able to support ACCESS and all the amazing work that they do for the university and the Ames community. |
