Description
Annually, our organization designs, manufactures, tunes, and competes vehicles as five separate teams - Aero, Baja, Clean Snowmobile, Formula IC (Internal Combustion) and Formula EV (Electric Vehicle). We also have many opportunities to attend national automotive trade shows, listen to technical speakers about new developments in the automotive field, and provide many career opportunities to dedicated members.

| Membership Qualifications |
Membership in SAE International Student Chapter shall be open to all registered students at Iowa State, as well as its faculty and staff. This ISU chapter is also open to non-ISU students in accordance with SAE International rules. |

| Elections/Selection |
Officers and advisors will be elected annually by a majority vote of the general membership population. Elections will take place at the last general meeting of the Spring semester. A term of office begins in May following the conclusion of the Spring semester and ends at the conclusion of the following Spring semester following the next election. |

The meeting schedule and location for each team and the organization will be released at the beginning of the Fall semester via email to members. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| Aero has weekly meetings Wednesdays at 6:30pm in Howe 2220, Baja has weekly meetings Tuesdays at 7:30pm SIC 0114, Clean Snowmobile has weekly meetings Wednesdays at 7:00pm Coover 1011, Formula has weekly meetings Thursdays at 7:00pm SIC 0114. Team leaders update members and present on their subsystems at this time. Members are often working in our shop, SICTR 0211 & 0235. |
