Description

Mezzo Forte Acapella is a group of dedicated auditioned acapella singers who wish to perform on campus and compete in acapella competitions around Iowa. The group meets on Wednesdays and Sundays from 7 - 9 pm. The auditions will take place on the first week of school, and they will include sight singing, a rehearsed art piece, and a harmony test.

Allowed Members Members will need to pass the audition process. This will include 3 portions: sight singing, a rehearsed art song, and a harmony test.
Allowed Officers Anyone is welcome to run for office after a year of membership.
Membership Qualifications Must be proficient in acapella singing.
Membership Restrictions
Elections/Selection Elections will occur in April, and all members will vote on a president or co-presidents for the next year through a google form. The president will be elected by a majority vote, and the president can choose to appoint a co-president. The president will also appoint a treasurer.
Meetings Officer meetings will be held monthly, and general meetings will only occur if the club feels the need to meet.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Mezzo Forte Acapella will rehearse on Wednesdays and Sundays from 7 - 9 pm during the school year. The club will participate in special events such as fundraisers and competitions. These are explained under special events.

Description of Special Events

Mezzo Forte Acapella will take part in fundraising activities such as bake sales and goodwill performances. These will help pay for travel for competitions. All members are required to be present and contribute.
