The Ghana Students’ Association (GSA) is established to foster unity among Ghanaian students, promote Ghanaian culture, and provide support and resources to Ghanaian students at Iowa State University. Our core values include inclusivity, cultural pride, academic excellence, and community service.

Allowed Members Membership shall be open to all registered students at Iowa State University (full-time or part-time) and visiting scholars (visiting no less than six months) interested in Ghanaian culture and community.
Allowed Officers All members who are full time students at Iowa State University.
Membership Qualifications
Membership Restrictions
Elections/Selection Elections will be held once a year at the end of the Spring Semester.
Meetings Meetings will be held once a month.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Meeting Schedule: GSA meets once a month at the SUV Community Center. The space reservation is coordinated by the Secretary at least a week in advance. Travel: GSA organizes occasional trips for cultural events occasionally. Travel arrangements are made by the Event Organizer and the secretary with the approval of the Executive Board. Travel itineraries are submitted to the Student Organization Travel Authorization System.
