Description
While at first glance Optometry school seems very similar to medical school, it is actually quite different. None of the pre-med programs at ISU have information regarding the field of eye health...until now. The Pre-Optometry/Ophthalmology Club will provide a space for students on the pre-optometry or pre-ophthalmology track to create a community as well as prepare for further education by hosting speakers from Optical schools around the country as well as local eye care doctors. This club will help us to dive further into the world of eye care as well as make connections with other students in our field of interest!

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| We will host panels for local professionals in our field to talk about their experiences as well as people in admissions at schools of interest for optometry students. There will also be a few meetings in which we simply gather to talk to one another about our experiences with preparing for further education. |
