Description
The Sociology Club is comprised of a diverse group of students studying the field of sociology at Iowa State University, including majors, minors, and other interested students. The Sociology Club exists to foster the Sociological Imagination within its membership, to further their understanding of sociological theory and methodology, and application of learned knowledge to real-world social issues. The hands on component of the club will take place through various extracurricular activities and events that the club will organize. The objective of the club is to immerse students in sociological concepts and expose other students and the larger community to the field of sociology.
