Elections/Selection |
President and Treasurer are yearly positions voted on at the end of the Fall semester. All other positions are voted on semesterly. |
Meetings |
Pledge meetings are every Sunday evening at our house. Chapter meetings are every Monday at 6pm at our house. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
We have regular chapter meetings every Monday night at 6pm at our house. Pledge meetings occur every Sunday evening in the Formal room. |
Description of Special Events
Leadership: The Leadership committee works to provide members with leadership opportunities within the community. We also have leadership events to strengthen the leadership qualities within our members. |
Scholarship: The main goal is to make sure that all members are complying with the scholarship requirement of Iowa State university as well as the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. We provide assistance in the form of helping members pay for tutors as well as having regular ASC meetings as the house. |
Philanthropy: Works to provide our house with multiple volunteer opportunities around Ames. As well as creates a philanthropy during the fall and spring where all proceeds go to Wounded Warrior. |
Brotherhood: Creates events within our house to create a welcoming environment for initiated members as well as potential new members. As well as hosts socials with other Greek houses on campus to strengthen relations around campus. |
