Description
The purpose and goals of the Chinese Language Club are to help students at Iowa State learn and practice Chinese language and culture. As such and through this platform, the Chinese Language Club can help in building friendships among students across cultural origin and linguistic difference. This organization holds bi-weekly meetings, including group discussions, Chinese conversation corners, and cultural events.

Allowed Members | Any ISU students who want to practice and learn Chinese language and culture |
Allowed Officers | Anyone who is a member of the Chinese Language Club for at least a semester. The officers must be in a good standing with the university and with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The president must be in this club for at least a year. |
Membership Qualifications | ISU students with a minimum 2.0 GPA and be in a good standing with the university. |
Membership Restrictions | There are no restrictions to join the Chinese Language Club at this time. |
Elections/Selection | At a time determined by the treasurer and the president |
Meetings | The officers of Chinese Language Club plan bi-weekly meeting on campus. The President is responsible for 1) reserving the meeting space, 2) holding bi-monthly officer meetings. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
The purpose and goals of the Chinese Language Club are to help students at Iowa State University learn and practice their Chinese, and help build friendships between American students and Chinese students. This organization will also hold bi-weekly group discussions, Chinese conversation corners, and cultural events. |
