Description

Sorority and Fraternity Community Ambassadors (SFCA) is a volunteer program designed for current Sorority and Fraternity Community members to create awareness, positively promote, stimulate interest and represent the Sorority and Fraternity Community at Iowa State with prospective students, families, community members and stakeholders. Sorority and Fraternity Community Ambassadors communicate a comprehensive view of student life at Iowa State, while focusing on various aspects of the Sorority and Fraternity Community including leadership, civic engagement, academics, friendship and social justice.

Membership Qualifications Member of the Sorority and Fraternity Community or are in the process of becoming an initiated member of a chapter in the Sorority and Fraternity Community, 2.75 GPA, selection via application and interview process.
Membership Restrictions Must be a member of a recognized chapter of the ISU Sorority and Fraternity Community, must be selected to be a Sorority and Fraternity Community Ambassador through an application process.
Elections/Selection Sorority and Fraternity Community Ambassadors has an annual recruitment period in early fall and early spring. Interested students should visit greek.iastate.edu for more information and application materials.
Meetings Bi-weekly meetings on Wednesday evenings from 5:10-6 p.m.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Regular meetings: Bi-weekly Wednesdays at 5:10 p.m. Daily Sorority and Fraternity Community Info Sessions: 2:10 p.m. M-F during fall and spring semesters Experience Iowa State morning resource fair
