Description

The governing body for Oak-Elm Hall. Representatives from each house, as well as executive board members, help make decisions about events and programming in hall, as well as contribute to larger Inter-Residence Hall Association. Partner with hall staff and have monthly leadership team meetings.

Allowed Members Members typically have an Executive officer, House representative, IRHA, or Member-at-large position.
Allowed Officers Taken by applications and election.
Membership Qualifications Must live in Oak Elm Residence Hall
Membership Restrictions Must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA.
Elections/Selection Elections will take place early in the fall semester.
Meetings Executive Council: Thursdays, 6:00-6:45 pm General Council: Thursdays, 7:00-7:30 pm

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Regular meetings consist of bills coming through from the Inter-Residence Hall Association to see whether or not Oak-Elm is in favor along with bills within Oak Elm with events/Houses asking for funding from the hall council fund.

Description of Special Events

Special Events would be the events the Hall Council funds or puts on itself.
