The MCDB GSO provides a friendly and educational environment for students from all types of research backgrounds to interact and learn from one another. We help to introduce new graduate students to Ames, help them find a lab with research interests close theirs, and we sponsor seminars and symposia.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

We hold journal clubs every three weeks to immerse ourselves in the primary literature and provoke thoughtful discussions on research near to all of us.
