The objective of the Sales Engineering Club (SEC) is to: 1) Increase student awareness and interest of sales engineering as a rewarding career path 2) Provide companies with an opportunity to network with students with a demonstrated interest in this field 3) Provide students with opportunities to gain real-world sales engineering experiences. Components associated with the club include: 1) Corporate-Student Panel Discussions, 2) Field Experiences, and 3) Guest Speakers

NSEC 2024 Sales Engineering Comeptition

From October 10-12th, several of our members had the opportunity to attend the National Sales Engineering Conference at the Emerson Innovation Center in Marshalltown, Iowa. The event, hosted by the National Society of Sales Engineers and largely planned by Gary Williams, was an amazing success, providing our club members invaluable experience.

Not only did our members attend the conference, they exceled in the Case Study Competition. Amongst a talented field composed of teams from universities across the country, Iowa State teams took home 4 of the top 10 spots, with the team of Connor Berlener and Christian Alicea taking home 1st place overall.

We are honored to take home this prize to Iowa State University - College of Engineering, and continue to help educate and train the next generation of Sales Engineers!
