Delta Upsilon is the premier men's fraternity committed to BUILDING BETTER MEN for a global society through service, leadership development, and lifelong personal growth of our diverse membership. The Delta Upsilon chapter at Iowa State began the recolonization process in September of 2011, and is committed to establishing itself in the Iowa State and Ames communities as a unique fraternity focused on the promotion of friendship, the development of character, the diffusion of liberal culture, and the advancement of justice.

Allowed Members |
Any PNM must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.70 and a semester GPA of 2.70 at the University in the semester immediately prior to being extended a bid. Any PNM that is a first semester freshman must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA in high school (based on a 4.0 scale). |

Any member with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and previous semester GPA of 2.7 or above |
Membership Qualifications |
Men looking into the fraternity must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, and be approved to extend a bid by the members based on the following criteria: Promotion of Friendship, Advancement of Justice, Diffusion of Liberal Culture, and the Development of character. |
Membership Restrictions |
Men looking into the fraternity and on academic probation with the university will not be considered. |
Elections/Selection |
Elections for executive officers occur in mid-November, where executive officers elected will hold his position for the calendar year. Chair positions are selected by the executive board and approved by the chapter. |
Meetings |
Chapter meetings are Sunday evenings starting at 5:00 PM at the Delta Upsilon Chapter House on 117 Ash Ave. |

Description of Special Events
We partake in social activities with other Greek organizations, including, but not limited to, Homecoming and Greek Week, Lip Sync, Yell Like Hell, Varieties, and socials. We also like to put on our own philanthropies, as well as attend others philanthropies, and organize brotherhood events and outings. |
